A few testimonials about our dog day care and dog boarding services.
"Betsy and Lilly, our three and-a-half year old
Lab-Akita twins, have been regulars at ?Camp Lora?[Button Meadow Dog Camp] for some time and
have come to think of her as family. The confidence we have in Lora?s
dog management skills and her knowledge of animal behavior give us
confidence that we can leave our dogs in her care and be worry free. We
whole-heartedly recommend [Button Meadow Dog Camp] as a skilled pet sitter[s], whether
the dog in question is large or small."
- Kate and Josh Rosenblatt, Easthampton
"[Button Meadow's] dog day care is like family day care for
children ? the small group allows her to learn and meet each dog?s
individual needs. My dogs greet her eagerly in the morning and
sometimes try to climb back into her van at night, so I know they are
happy and comfortable there!"
- Julie Zuckman, Florence
"[Button Meadow Dog Camp] has been pet sitting for our animal family
members for several years now. [Lora has] always been honest, caring,
professional and reliable. I'm pretty sure our animals get better care
when we're away than when we're home!"
- Kathy Elsea, Florence
"I think I was one of [A Parade Of Pets' now Button Meadow Dog Camp's] first customers 6 or so
years ago now. I was impressed by [Lora's] thoroughness, her sense of
responsibility and her love of animals. She initially cared for my
loveable Siamese cat who had asthma. Lora was wonderful with her
medications and general care. I appreciated her heartfelt shared sorrow
when my beloved kitty passed away. She has continued on with me and my
new persnickity but also ultimately loveable Siamese cat and is putting
great effort into forming a relationship with her despite my kitty's
tendency to turn up her nose when she realizes it is not me coming thru
the door. It's always a great relief to feel confident about leaving my
cherished pet in Lora's care when I go away."
- Molly Goodwin, Easthampton
"I had heard about ?Miss Lora? from my daughter a few
years ago. [A Parade Of Pets, now Button Meadow Dog Camp] was the only[service] she would entrust her 80 pound
Sophie with. Lora dog sits Sophie ? who at times requires many
medications ? at both my daughter?s home and at her doggie day care for
extended periods of time. The confidence shown by my daughter and
daughter-in-law has been unfaltering. When I moved to Northampton a
year ago, I took a job requiring me to travel during the week. Without
hesitation, I asked [Button Meadow Dog Camp] to dog sit my Noah at my home and/or at her
day care center. She also comes by to feed and love my cat Odie while
I am gone. The confidence and trust I have in [Button Meadow Dog Camp] goes above and
beyond ? just as Lora does!! My biggest testament to ?Miss Lora? is
that fact that my Noah is as dedicated and in love with her as he is
with me [well, almost?. I want to believe!!] Every morning he wakes up,
runs to the front window and waits in hopes that it is going to be a
?Miss Lora? day. You can't ask for more than [Button Meadow Dog Camp] when you need to
entrust your precious animals with someone other than yourself!!"
- Enid Segal, Northampton
"My golden retriever, Sherman, has been a [dog day care] regular at
Parade of Pets day camp [ Button Meadow Dog Camp] as well as [boarding] overnight for quite some time
now. When I tell him ?Lora is coming? he gets so excited. Lora loves
what she does and it shows in how happy the dogs are with her. I could
not think of a better [dog day care and dog boarding] place that I would send my dog to. He is part of
my family and [Button Meadow Dog Camp's] family also.
[Button Meadow Dog Camp] is a great place and Lora is a great person."
- Sandy Hayden, Easthampton
"We moved to Massachusetts two years ago. The move was
stressful enough without having to search for the right caretaker for
my lovable older lab. We were so fortunate to find [Button Meadow Dog Camp]. [Lora] loves dogs
and treats them all like members of her own family. I know from first
hand experience, she laughs with them on long walks, soothes them when
they are sore, and never gives up on them when their bodies can't quite
keep up with their spirits. Simply put, Lora is an amazing caretaker. I
would recommend [Button Meadow Dog Camp] without hesitation."
- Debbie Long, Amherst
"Lora has found the perfect job (or calling I should
say). She loves the animals and they love her as well. They have
complete trust in her as we have also through out the years. We met her
and were very impressed with her dedication to all the animals; rain or
shine she gets everyone taken care of and then some! She is also very
flexible with her scheduling and that means a lot when she is able to
help during an emergency etc. She has been taking care of our pets for
the last six-years since she first set-up A Parade of Pets, [now, Button Meadow Dog Camp] and no one
could have done a better job. We are looking forward to the next
six-years+ with her taking care of our pets and being a friend."

Meadow Dog Camp] has cared for our treasured nine year old English lab,
Scout, practically since [Lora] opened [as] A Parade of Pets. When
[Button Meadow Dog Camp's taxi] shows up for Scout, he leaps inside her
green [van] with glee and the tail doesn't stop wagging until he sits on
it. Even then, we suspect it continues happy wags of approval in the
backseat. Over the years we've
left Scout [boarding at Button Meadow Dog Camp] for lengths varying from
a weekend to up to three weeks, while traveling throughout the
Northeast, the West Coast and abroad. Sometimes while in residence at
[Button Meadow Dog Camp], Scout has required a little extra TLC such as
meds for his swimmer's ears. We always have complete confidence that Scout is receiving from [Button Meadow Dog Camp] the absolute best care available. In fact, we're secretly waiting for [Button Meadow Dog Camp] to open a grownups' B&B, so we can check in with Scout someday.
